A Little Something About Arnica

Arnica is a flower that looks much like a daisy. The dried yellow petals are steamed distilled for their essential oil that helps with inflammation, circulation and pain relief.

Arnica has been used for hundreds of years to treat pain, inflammation and speed the healing of bruises.

The Body Lounge formulas are all handmade in Vermont and are very concentrated. They are non-irritating and the percentage of arnica is greater than in many other formulas which is why they are particularly effective.

All varieties contain the same concentration of arnica. The lotion and the cream are similar with the cream having the addition of shea butter and more coconut oil. The massage oil has a smaller molecular structure than creams (as do all oils) so sometimes take effect a bit earlier as they are absorbed quicker.
