History: The lemon tree originated in Asia and was introduced to Italy at approximately the end of the 5th century, where its cultivation spread very quickly. California is now one of the top producers of Asian lemon trees. The fruit was regularly used by English sailors to prevent scurvy. Greeks used lemons to perfume their clothing. It was considered a “cure-all” particularly when it came to infectious diseases.

SKIN CARE: acne, anemia, brittle nails, boils, chilblains, corns, cuts, oily skin, herpes, insect bites, mouth ulcers, spots, varicose veins, warts
CIRCULATION MUSCLES and JOINTS: arthritis, cellulitis, high blood pressure, nosebleeds, obesity (congestion), poor circulation, rheumatism
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM: asthma, throat infections, bronchitis, catarrh
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM: dyspepsia
IMMUNE SYSTEM: colds, flu, fever, infections
Advisory: Should not be used on the skin prior to sun exposure. Non-toxic, may cause dermal irritation or sensitization reactions in some individuals
